We've been meaning to post some pictures and get the blog updated, but our home projects have kept us busy. We've installed curtain rods, closet shelving, and last night we reinforced our rickety dining chairs with screws so we won't fall down when we sit on them. I have a few pictures to post and I promise I will soon.
Right now we have a little preparing to do for the storm this weekend. We stocked up on water and canned food yesterday and have been confident that it won't really affect us. But now that I'm at school and native Floridians are getting a little uneasy, I'm a little uneasy as well. Dad is supposed to fly in tonight for my birthday weekend, but I'm holding right now with ATA to see if they'll change his ticket. Even if the storm doesn't hit us directly, if anything happens around here he might not be able to get out of the airport.
Please do pray for us Floridians. It's a little scary when they say it's the biggest storm on record.
