Phabulous Phlorida Phenomenon

So about a month ago Mom's boss and his wife came to Florida on business. They went back with a story about seeing fake fall trees as lawn decorations in an upscale Tampa neighborhood. I'd never seen such a thing until this past week, when I saw something like this in front of a house in Brad's parents' neighborhood.

Yes, it's fall in Florida, but nothing changes color which makes me feel like it's still summer. The temperature has dropped a bunch so it feels wonderful-- mostly 70s and 80s with drops into the 60s at night. Last night it rained so Brad and I laid in the hammock on our lanai and listened to the rain. Heavenly.

Anyway-- just wanted to show you a picture of what transplanted yankee fall-lovers do in their Florida front lawns.
