One more thing I forgot-- I was inspired by a stack of very old photographs we saw at an antique-y store in downtown Fort Myers last weekend. Wouldn't it be fun, I thought, to have a weekly Write-Your-Own-Caption thing on the blog?! (Ok, so I just want to see if anyone is reading the blog, and I'm hungry to hear from my friends. But doesn't this sound mildly amusing at least?) I bought a stack of somewhat quirky photos and leave the challenge to you, dear readers, to write a fitting caption for the picture. If you don't play along, it won't be any fun, so don't be a lurker. Write me a caption, or you won't get another picture.

Here's the first installment. You might say, "Short on measuring devices, Harold decides to calculate the height of his tree based on his own height." Or, "Yummy Miracle Grow really works! Just one sip and you'll be as tall as a tree!" Or something far more clever than that. Please keep it relatively clean. It's a family show.
