Last night I met Brad for dinner at Panera in Bonita Springs. Panera just made it's first appearance in southwest Florida a few months ago at Coconut Point, a new shopping center where a forest used to be. When Coconut Point was first finished we drove around to see what stores there would be (yes, there is an Apple Store, phew), and when it came time to leave we found that the genius who did the pavement painting, you know, ONLY with the turn arrow above it? He painted the N backwards. I wish I had had a camera-- it was pretty funny.
Anyway, we met for dinner and it's just such a comfort at the end of the day to see this handsome face. Can you believe we're going on three years of marriage in June? Feels like three weeks. (Edited: Brad didn't like this picture of himself. But trust me, he's a wicked handsome man.)
If you look carefully, in the back right corner sat a man who reminded me a lot of Ricky Gervais, the creator of and boss on BBC's The Office. It was hard not to stare or quote things at him. He even wore sunglasses the whole time, making it harder and harder to remember my manners.
