And it is redeemed...

"I was in the class you lectured in yesterday for Professor *** and i just wanted to say thank-you and that you did a really good job. your lecture was very clear and hgelpfull, i probaly learned more yesterday than i had in any other class. Do you do any tutoring or help sessions or anything that i could go to? thank you so much!"

...said the email from the unknown student. This lovely person made my day. Thank you, God, for random encouragement from a person I don't even know.

Edited to add: My last class today was a lab of students from that lecture. When I entered the classroom the all started clapping! I fought back tears and was terribly touched by their kindness. They saw everything yesterday and could tell that the prof was rough on me, and they did everything they could to encourage me today. It was really uplifting. One kid even "commanded" me to lecture every week. "I'm not saying it to be nice, I'm saying it because you just need to do it." Redeemed, indeed. Thank you, Lord!

Three cheers from Pennsylvania for Kathleen!!! We often don't know how one word or email of encouragement can change the course of a persons day! I'm so glad you have those students and I think it's neat how you care so much for them. Really Awesome! I knew you would do a wonderful job!
