June 27th, 2005.
Time moving truck arrived: 12 p.m.
Time loaders arrived: 1:30 p.m.
Hours spent loading the truck: 3
Number of feet reserved in the truck: 12
Number of feet actually used: 24
After dinner with Mom and Steph at Max and Erma's, we spent the night at a hotel (thanks to the moving truck company-- their restitution for changing our moving date one day earlier with less than a week's notice). We left town Tuesday after breakfast with Dad at Walker Brothers Pancake House and errands, and a last stop at Pita Inn for lunch.
Number of miles traveled on Tuesday: about 350 to Elizabethtown, Kentucky
Number of flat tires: 1
Minutes it took Pit Crew Brad to change the tire: less than 20
We stopped around 10:30 p.m. and got a room at the Ramada Inn. The only place open for dinner was Shoney's. I hope it's our last time there. The waitress said that the T-Bones were "mouthwatering," but we opted to not get the t-bones. We also learned that that region of Kentucky, close to Indiana, is known as "Kentuckiana."
