Health update

1.) Brad's ear looks better from the drops. He's still in a lot of pain and can't take the narcotic painkillers because he's allergic to them... which we found out the hard way last night when he began yelling, "Bucket!!! Bucket!!!" from the couch. Let's just say I've never seen him look so green. I was on the phone with my grandparents when he came in the bedroom, looked at me, and hurled into said bucket. The bathroom has now been Lysol-ed and is sparkly clean, but I'm not eating lasagna again for a very long time. Poor man.

2.) I took some benadryl and the itching subsided a bit, but I woke up this morning with big hives all over my arms, legs, and torso. My face and neck are itching and splotchy, my eyelids are a lovely shade of mauve, and my hands and wrists are raw. I called my doc and they said it's an allergic reaction to one of my stomach medications. It's not a party. I'm taking benadryl and am a wee bit loopy and groggy-- but junior highers are like that all the time, so I fit in well at school today.

3.) I neglected to mention that I have an ingrown toenail which decided to burst open yesterday. Delightful. Just thought I'd mention that.

We're at the point now that we laugh when we feel bad. What else can we do?

Ack. My eyelashes are itching me. I need to go.

Happy Thanksgiving.
