To my midwestern friends

Today it is 81 degrees outside. The lows will get down to 61. The skies are blue with puffy clouds and the palm trees are swaying gently in the breeze. The hammock on the lanai is calling your name.

Would you like to rethink the fact that you aren't down here for a visit?

We'd love to see you!

P.S. I promise to post pictures tonight of our latest projects.

P.P.S Sorry I haven't posted much lately. I haven't been feeling so hot. Monday was my fun-tabulous medical test which determined that I have a hiatal hernia, acid reflux disease, and diverticulosis, among other things. All exacerbated by stress. I also woke up Sunday with a cold which turned into bronchitis on Tuesday. I got to miss two days of school, but I still feel a bit like a truck hit me. Lucky for me I'm finding relief of the comic variety in my new favorite TV show, That 70's Show. It's irreverent and condones illegal behaviors, but it is mildly hilarious and not too dramatic. I especially like the stuck-up brunette girl who said the other night that the agony of waiting for a boy to call her must be like how fat girls feel waiting for their toast to pop out of the toaster. Quips like that make me giggle and take my mind off my job. Which is pretty close to changing. I'll keep you posted. Praise God for deliverance!
