A new show to eat up our evenings...

Michael Bluth: What have we always said is the most important thing?
George Michael Bluth: Breakfast
MB: Family
GMB: Oh, right. Family. I thought you meant of the things you eat.

Three episodes of Arrested Development gave us quite a few chuckles last night, thanks to Netflix and my sister's rec. Not as funny as the office, but not as painful, either. The family on the show is so very screwed up that I felt quite normal afterward. It's not too raunchy and not violent, and mostly just entertaining. I'll keep the other discs on the queue and will follow this family for a while.

After a delish dinner of Mrs. Grass's Chicken Soup and grilled cheese, we watched the dvds and then went our separate ways. By the way, the grilled cheese was quite good-- I'd seen on a blog or in a magazine the idea of using potato hamburger buns as the bread and pressing the sandwiches like a panini. I heated up a skillet and my heavier-than-a-car Le Creuset dutch oven and pressed the sandwiches between them. The sandwiches came out flat and crispy on the outside with no added butter. Yum.

After dinner and dvds Brad went to play World of Warcraft and I intended to blog some Africa pictures. However, since we have a mishmash of pictures from various generous family members, the pictures are in a weird order. And I just can't have that. So I spent some time putting them all in order and will soon be ready to post at least the first half of the trip. Saturday we don't have plans so I want to veg and blog then.

It's Friday and I'm hoping for a call from our realtor today. I called him last night to check in-- he has spoken with the interested party three times and she's thinking things over and researching the area. He said he'd call her again today. We shall see.

Pray for Brad if you think of it-- he's gotten an ear infection again. They tend to come on quickly and quite strong-- he's spent the last two days in bed quite a bit. Today he has a few things to do and then will go to the doctor to get some meds. Poor guy.
