I'm soon to be employed!

It's true! I got a job! I had a second interview at the university on Thursday, and was offered a position on Friday afternoon. It's not the position they originally posted, but a 9-month, non-benefit-earning version of the job. So while money will be tight, I will be gainfully employed as of August 20th. Woo hoo! I'll be teaching freshman math "labs", which are the smaller classes students attend after large lectures led by professors. Don't know my schedule yet. Should find out more this week!

YAY!!!! So glad. You must look up Collette when you are on campus. Will you and Brad be able to drive in together?

YEAH!! Kathleen I'm so happy for you. I really enjoyed teaching at the college level. Don't get discouraged when the students stop coming, it's not you it's them. I had one class that over half my students stopped coming by the end of the semester. It actually made it better for the rest of the students and less grading for me. :)
