Eight days

Time is flying by and it feels like we've only scratched the surface of our to-do's. Truth is, we're about 80% done with each individual room, but the remaning 20% makes it look like everywhere we look is a disaster. We're officially in "overwhelmed" mode and some of our free time has been usurped by doctor visits and job interviews, both necessary things right now, but expensive in terms of time. We pack everything into storage in 6 days... hopefully we'll be ready. I'm leaning closer and closer toward the "just throw it all away" end of the spectrum as the minutes tick by!

And it's final exam season for summer school, which means I've had a zillion emails and appointments with freaked out students to take up my time as well. I'm actually proctoring an exam as we speak... is it bad that I'm not being hyper-vigilant about cheating? If I catch someone it will just take up more of my time and energy. Terrible reasoning, I know. Ok, I'll go walk around the room again.

We were sidelined a bit this weekend when Georgie got sick again on Friday night. Thankfully we know what to look for, so we got her to the vet first thing on Saturday and she's bouncing back pretty well. It's stressful, though, and upsetting to see her in pain and misery. Here's hoping this is the last of it.
