Puppies don't stay still

We went over to Beth and Rico's on Saturday to help them bring a couch down to their driveway for their garage sale. They got a new puppy on Friday, a little friend for Kena as the other dogs are not so friendly with her. Isabella, below, is a sweet puppy with a calm personality. If we were going to get a dog, this would be it. Such a sweetie.





We also went to weight watchers in the morning and I was down 1.6 pounds, for a total of 6.6 in 4 weeks. They say to expect an average of 1 lb. per week, so I'm happy.

On Sunday we went to the local Vineyard church. We had been there when we first got in town and it has it oddities, but it was also a safe place where we knew the doctrine was good. We will be back.

On the job front, I was offered another teaching position yesterday. I have to call the lady back this morning and tell her if I want it. I'm not so sure I do. It's been feast and famine in our house-- I'm getting calls back like crazy with offers I don't want, and Brad, who sends out twice the resumes I am, is getting no calls back. So weird. Please keep praying for direction for us!
