On the 11th I started teaching summer school. Two statistics classes, one is MWF, the other TR. The MWF one is just after lunch time, so Brad and I get to eat lunch together those days. The TR one is from 3 to 6:30 p.m., over the dinner hour. I told Brad that on the first day, I probably wouldn't be making dinner. Sweetheart that he is, he went online, found a simple recipe for pesto chicken, and made dinner! Even more impressive, he improvised! The grocery store did not carry pesto, nor pinenuts. So Brad got lemon pepper and sunflower seeds! We had lemon pepper chicken with tomatoes, mozzarella, and sunflower seeds, with angelhair pasta on the side. It was delightful!

The next Saturday we did something we've been wanting to do since we moved here-- rent jet skis! We each got our own and signed up for a "nature tour". There were about 8 jet skis total, and we chose to be at the end of the line so we could lag behind and play a bit. We missed most of the "nature" talk, but had a blast! We saw quite a few dolphins up close, and had a really great time!

This was before-- the water was really choppy, and it got a little scary at times in the beginning as the guide guy just took off really fast!

This was after. We had a great time!!! It's probably good that we didn't do this sooner or we would have wanted to go more often!
